Tacy & Marilyn: the Cher is for you!!!!

Tacy   Marilyn

I'm sitting here alone again, Brandon's trying to catch a flight to Utah & Mitch and Ali are both with friends my house is SO quiet.  I should be reading the latest book club book or cleaning the house to get ready for the upcoming arrival of Nick & Natalie but instead i'm thinking about my girls in Bonney Lake!!!!
I talked to Tacy tonight for a little bit and suddenly  i'm feeling a little homesick for Seattle. These were the girls that I spent most of my time with when I wasn't working, working-out, or doing other motherly things!!!
Our girls, Ali, Tess, and Destinee went to kindergarten & first grade together and became such good friends!

Marilyn- I would see her every day standing outside the kindergarten door waiting to pick up Destinee but we never talked to each other.  I would watch her little boy run around and be crazy and think he was so cute.  Then one day when it was a little bit cold outside i was waiting in the school by the front door and she came in and waited there too.  We finally started talking and by the time we were done we were taking the girls roller skating the next day.  Well, I ended up at the skating rink and she didn't!!!!! Ali and I skated by ourselves and wondered what happend to our new friends.
Well, that was the first of our weekly skating dates that lasted until the girls had to go to school full-time in first grade.  Marilyn was the first REAL friend that I had in Bonney Lake and one that I will cherish forever!!!!!!
Tacy-i noticed Tacy for the first time at the kindergarten orientation but didn't talk to her.  Then, i noticed her again on the first day of school. My true thoughts about here were "I think she has fake boobs" something that I always notice (don't worry, i have since told her that).  I was wrong she just knows how to pick the perfect bra!  We would talk a little bit here and there because we volunteered in the classroom on the same day but it wasn't until Marilyn and I had planned to take the kids to the park one day that we really started a friendship.  Ali and Tess would spend as much time together as possible and almost everytime i would drop Ali off to play i would end up staying for an hour or two. By the time we moved to Ohio (I think) we had a pretty CLOSE friendship. Acutally, Tacy got many text messages from me the first couple of  weeks after we moved when I was having Seattle withdrawls!!! Well girls, thanks for being my friends and for making those 2 years so much more fun than they would have been if we hadn't started talking in kindergarten!!! (and BTW- i know you look at this blog so leave a comment once in a while so i know when you've visited. if you have a hard time keep trying)

Hey Girlfriend! Thanks for saying such nice things about me.It's weird because sometimes when I pick Tess up from school, it seems like you should be there. Sounds like you and Brandon are having a great time in San Diego. Just enjoy your "Adult" time together! We miss you guys!!!
