Concert tickets and no one to go with!!

UPDATE--- I found out that Idina had an opener and wasn't going on until 9:00 so, I kind of got the best of both worlds.  I got to do the whole trick-or-treat thing and got to go to the concert.  Since she went on later, Brandon was going to be able to go with me but we ended up having some friends over for trick-or-treating and they were still here when I needed to leave so at the last minute I ended up taking Ali.   She was so happy!!! (she had been really wanting to go)!!
It was SRO (standing room only) so I ended up having to hold her the entire time. Hip to back to other hip for an hour and 20 minutes and then finally someone offered me their chair and (of course), she only played for 10 more minutes!! I gave the chair back and then Idina came back out and sang 3 more songs!!!!

The concert was AWESOME!!! She only did about 2 songs that I didn't know and did a bit of RENT and WICKED plus a lot of other great songs.

We had such a great time and i'm sooooooo glad I went!  Ali was too.  She said "mommy, i'm so glad you took me because I would have been so mad if you came home and told me how good it wasn't and I wasn't there">

We got home a little late but I love so much that Ali and I get to do these things together!!!!
**********************************************************************************

Have you ever gone to or would you ever go to a concert by YOURSELF?

Brandon and the kids gave me tickets to this concert that I have been really wanting to go to the only problem.......i can't find anyone to come with me!

See, here in Avon Lake, they decided to change trick-or-treating to tonight instead of keeping it on Halloween because of the highschool football game...so, nobody wants to miss taking their kids around and come to the concert with me. I really want to go but i really don't want to go by myself (i'm a little torn too about missing the events around here).

Well, i guess we'll see what happens!!!

If it was someone I loved-- I would totally go alone. Who cares? It's not like you talk through a concert anyway-- you just enjoy the music, right?

Think about the people who have to go alone to everything! Maybe just look it as an enjoyable evening to yourself! LIKE A TREAT! I want o hear all about it anyway!!!!

I second Natalie's suggestion...or invite a single woman from church who doesn't have anyone to go places with? My mom is like that, you might end up being a miracle for someone! :-) Love ya, hope you had a great b-day!

I am so glad that you were able to have Ali with you. I was feeling so bad that you were going by yourself. I am way jealous. I would have love to see the concert. Hopefully next time. Love you!
