Today

Here's how my day went today....

Alarm goes off at 5:30am...time to get up and take thyroid medicine..take it, go back to bed
Alarm goes off at 6:00am...time to get up...hit snooze...alarm goes off at 6:05...hit snooze, & again at 6:10...6:15 ok fine...try to wake kids up so we can get ready and be to the dr. by 7:30am.... 6:25 kids finally rolling out of bed and not very happy about it!!!

6:30am kids shower Ali in our shower Mitch in bath after being told 10 times that he could not take a bath he needed to take a shower......is it worth the fight?

Don't even know what time it is kids getting dressed..finally my turn in the shower...FREEZING....

Get out kids sitting on bed watching spongebob even though they know tv is not allowed in the morning until they are completely ready to go!!!!! hum......

7:20am out the door and on our way to dr......7:31am finally made it...check in and they are already, ready for us...(how often do you get to see the dr. without having to wait forever)....

Don't know the time...Mitch on scale 95.8 lbs...

Talk to nurse.....dr. will be right in....dr. comes in.....checks him out...starts asking questions like "have you recently been out of the country"...my answer "i wish".....

ok deco..something of the skin....could be due to having strep in the past month that we didn't catch...."but oh ya I forgot to tell you, Mitchell only pee-d one time yesterday" "WHAT" "only one time"..  "i'm going to get a urine sample".........

10 minutes later...."there is a little bit of blood in the urine"..."i want to to blood work to make sure his kidneys are functioning right"..."what" this time from me....  "i'll get back to you with the results tomorrow, but let me know if he doesn't pee anymore"...

8:10...get 3 viles of Mitchells blood taken.....off to school....oh but wait, " "we never had breakfast"...stop at McDonalds....free chcoclate chip cookie....best part of my day!!!!

8:30 get Ali to school right on time....head to Mitch's school....."i'm not going to school"...

9:00...he never gets out of the car...head home, the kids are coming.......

9:10....Riley, Aiden & Addison come.....play for a while things are pretty good..Melissa (their mom) shows up to drop off diapers....Aiden's fingers get stuck under closet door...(luckily it happened while she was there)....

Melissa leaves...Riley hits Addy in the head and "heads" to time-out......

12:00..lunch....picture.... ramen noodles and pineapple everywhere!!!!!

12:30 naptime...................................................................................................

1:00...Riley's not tired....ok...whatever....not going to fight it....

1:30...new tv shows up...put the stand on...take the old tv off dresser and put the new one there...woo hoo it works!!!!!

2:30 Mitch's teacher called....didn't send home any homework..but he missed a test today...

3:00....Addy wakes up poopy diaper and all

3:15....Aiden wakes up........ 

Everyone jumps on the bed with Mitch...knocks over all the millions of clothes that I have just folded.....out of the bedroom....turn on the music for some dancing time......

4:00...time to start loading up the car to pick Ali...wait...why can't I hear the doors lock...wait...push the remote start....why won't the car start....?  get in the car it's really not starting....pull the hood lever....why can't i get it open...how the *&#% do i get the hood up.....

call shannon to pick up Ali......finally get the hood up....can't find jumper cables....wait for shannon to drop off ali.....knock....Jim (kids dad) shows up...."whats wrong with your car".....can you help....ya but no jumper cables.....wait for shannon drop off ali......

shannon comes.....drops her off....goes home...brings back cables.....try to figure out what to do with all the kids while we try to get the car started....picture  2 2 year olds running toward the street with basketballs......

woo hooo........car starts.......   Jim and Shannon  "i'd leave the car running for about 15 minutes".............an hour later......"oh my gosh i forgot to turn off the car"..ring on the cell phone it's shannon "i think you can probably turn your car off"..........

Ali does homework with Isabel..... play....Mitch asleep in the bedroom won't wake up.....he's way too tired.......take Mitch's temp...."you're fine" (such a mom thing to say)

6:30 Isabel goes home.. i'm not cooking...i'm dragging my sick kid to red robin

sitting at Red Robin.....Ali "i think i'm gonna throw up" ..Mitch with his head on the table "i'm too tired".....Ali "can we go to target and use my gift card" "fine but only for a few minutes Mitch doesn't feel good and I want to watch American Idol"  

8:30....just leaving Target....

started working on a project for ali's school binder.... kids go to bed alone....

all i hear is fighting & laughing, laughing & fighting......i missed American Idol.....

10:28....still sitting at the computer....wanting to sit in the bath and read.....freezing my butt off.... it's 2 hours past my bedtime.... Ali just walked in "my throat hurts bad"........

Calgon take me away...and bring me another free cookie!!!!! :)   Funny Day!!!
