Sprinting for Diapers

Yesterday I stopped in the middle of a full on sprint to laugh at myself when I realized that I was  chasing a 2 year old around in circles trying to catch him because he didn't want his diaper changed.  Wow, its been a long time since I did that!!!

By lunch time I was dripping with sweat and out of breath everytime I walked up  the stairs {of course carrying at least one if not two kiddos}.

Its so funny to be back in baby "mode" well I know they are almost 2 but you know what I mean. {don't you}.

I have talked a lot about wanting to have another baby of my own. Well, having these two here everyday makes me realize all the things that I haven't done for so long, at least with my own kids.  Sippy cups, diapers, wiping bums, running after them so they don't put something in their mouths or get into something that they shouldn't, locking doors, keeping things off the ground, not to mention, dora, disney movies, animal crackers, and the thought that keeps coming into my head "I need 2 high-chairs" ??!!

Mitch and Ali are learning a lot too like, not to leave their homework out when it can be and has been crumpled up, colored on, or ripped, not to leave things out that they don't want played with  like IPODS or library books.

So, do I still want another one of my own..........ALWAYS!!!!!

Oh and by the way....Brandon really has hardly been here with these kids but they LOVE him....and yes the love him more than me......they call him daddy, they raise their arms to him as soon as they see him {to be held}, they burst into his office anytime they get a chance and climb into his lap....its pretty cute!!!! {not so sure the parents think its cute that they call him daddy}

PS...i'm taking on another one!! A 3 year old little girl!!

That's a bit how we're about to feel. My kids are 8 and 5 and I am due in 2 months. I haven't done cribs, bottles, pacifiers, childproofing, etc. in a really long time. I can also take a nap whenever I get the chance, even if my kids are still awake!!! Your post scared me for what's right around the corner, but you're right . . . it is still wonderful!

Welcome to my world girl! It's tough, but at the end of the day isn't cool when you sit down to watch American Idol and you've had a workout AND short people are still alive because of you! You should definitely get knocked up yourself!
