Mitch has been studying all about Egypt in social studies and last week at school they started their mask project. The took in the supplies they needed and basically made a cast of their faces, then they got to bring home the mask and decorate it how they wanted, to make it look like an Egyptian mask.
This has been a really fun project. Mitch had a lot of fun deciding what colors to use and exactly how he wanted to decorate. He stayed pretty close to what most Egyptian masks look like. I'm pretty sure he will get an awesome grade on it. (at least I hope he does since he has been working so hard on it and it has taken him a week to finish)!!!
