THE BIG 32

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRANDON!!!!!! Brandon turned 32 on Sunday(Sept.9). It was a pretty lazy day but a good one. We celebrated on Saturday with a neighborhood block party and then his boss and about 15 other people from work took us out on the town to show us around Cleveland's West Side. Sunday night we had our neighbors over for a BBQ and of course Cake and ice cream. We wished we could have spent the day with all the family and friends we are missing in Utah and Washington but it was great to spend it with our new friends in Ohio!!!

Our dad is the BEST!!!

The kids made it through the first week of school!!! Yeah!!! We were really proud of Mitch. On Tuesday he finally decided he would try taking the bus (he tried it once last year and never did it again) well.....he took it to and from school the rest of the week with no problem. It looks like maybe I will have a little bit less time in the car this year. Yeah for me!!!!

I love to watch Brandon hang out with the kids and their friends!!!!!! Today Mitch had a couple of his new friends over. He came inside and said "mom dad needs you outside" and of course I thought "oh no what did the boys do now" when I got out to see what Brandon needed, he had set up a game of Bacci Ball with the boys but he couldn't remember exactly how to keep score which is where I came in (except I couldn't remember either). I think it is so GREAT that my kids have a dad that likes to hang out and play with them and their friends. It's fun for me to watch too!!!!!:)
