Ali's 9th Birthday!!!

Ali is finally feeling better and was able to have her birthday party!!! She invited 11 girls for a sleepover and I think they had a lot of fun!!! The girls went on a scavenger hunt around the neighborhood, played pin the tail on the donkey, freeze dance, American Idol and tackle Mitchell!!! They ate a lot of pizza and snacks, watched movies and told stories.. We had planned on watching a movie in the backyard with Brandons projector but the weather wasn't very good so we decided to do it in the house (only we couldn't get the projector to play dvd's)!!! They had to settle for the regular tv!!!

I think it was fun for Ali to wake up on her actual birthday with all of her friends there!!! We made breakfast and the girls sat around and talked all morning long. It's so nice to live in a neighborhood where there are a lot of friends close by!
After all the girls had gone home we gave Ali her NEW BIKE!!! She had been wanting one for a while and has hardly gotten off it since we gave it to her!!! Mitch had a baseball game last night so we went to that but it got rained out halfway through and we got sopping wet from the down pour...we went to dinner in our sopping wet, FREEZING clothes!!! I cannot believe this girl is 9 year old!!! She's getting to big but she's still my baby!!!!

(notice the cupcakes,,,she had to have these HUGE cupcakes from costco...I think this was the first time ever that I didn't make the birthday cake for one of the kids party's)
