Sisters & Friends

Well, I obviously didn't finish the thankful posts but if I had they would have been about my sisters and my friends.

I'm not sure what I would do if I didn't have everyone of my sisters in my life. We all have our own problems and our own drama but underneath it all I still remember the little girls that.....

played with fruity the giraffe, made houses in the furnace room, wore the same outfits to disneyland (yes 7 little girls all dressed the same at disneyland, we must have turned a lot of heads), had stuffed animal wars, sang in church or at baptisms, in the malls or at funerals together, jumped out the window onto the trampoline, made music videos, stole each others clothes, I could go on and on.

I'm so thankful to have all of my sisters in my life and can't imagine life without them!!!

I guess I am lucky to be able to say that because we have moved a few times I have good friends in many different places. I am so thankful especially for the friends that I have made since moving out of Utah! I have always been quiet and not very out going but moving to a new state where you know nobody forces you to meet new people and make new friends. As hard as it is to be away from home and family I am happy to have had the opportunity to be away and be forced into doing things that normally I wouldn't do. I have some good friends in Seattle and have made some really good friends here in Ohio too. In the past I have shied away from making close friends at church I think for quite a few reasons but being in Ohio (and part of the Primary Presidency) I have had to let my guard down and have made some really great friends and I am seeing now that in doing this, the people I spend time with now are totally different that the ones that I spent time with when we first moved to Ohio. It's been really good to find out who the people are that are true friends and that really care about our friendships. As well as with a couple of friends in Seattle, I know that even though we are not close and do not talk to each other as much as I would like, I know I have friends there that love me and would do anything for me and that is a great feeling!

I'm not forgetting all my great friends in Utah! One especially! I feel so blessed to have all of my friends in my life no matter where they live and how far apart we are.

Thanks to my sisters and friends for being awesome people and being a part of who I am!!!

When I was at Emma's baptism, there was a family with 2 older sisters, 3 that were about 8 and a couple 2 and 3 year olds. They all got up to sing the musical number. I almost started to cry! It reminded me so much of what we used to do as little girls. The best part is that some of us complained about singing, some of us loved it, but without all of is it wouldn't have been the same. Love you and all the memories!
