Mitch has been at Scout Camp all week. This is the first time ever that he has gone away on his own and stayed anywhere without us!! Wednesday night was family night and we were able to go have dinner with the troop and see the campsite etc. Ali and I both wished we could go to scout camp, it looked like so much fun!
Since tomorrow is Mitch's birthday and he will still be at camp, I took a birthday cake and we were able to sing to him and celebrate his birthday with his troop. It sound like he has been having a great time and he was especially excited that Brandon was able to spend a night with him and see all the things he was learning and doing.
I have to say that we are so proud of him for going out of his comfort zone and staying at camp this week it is something that he normally doesn't do but he went without complaining and has not had any problems being there but mom, can't wait to have him home!!!
