I've had a lot of comments from people about my choice of music so I thought I would start sharing some of my favorites!!! Most of you know that I LOVE Amy Grant!!!! Angels is one of my most favorite songs. I think it's a song that some people might hear one time and decide they don't like it but if you really listen to the words, it is such a great song. It is so simple and straight forward but can really make you think. I wrote the words below and it should be playing so listen to this great song and let me know what you think. (it won't hurt my feelings if you don't like it as much as i do)

If you are familiar with Rent or Wicked (the original Broadway versions or RENT the movie you may know who she is).

I got her new CD in my Easter basket and I like it! I definitely think some of her songs in my opinion are more Broadway type songs but I love that she does a lot of the writing and plays the piano as well. She has an awesome voice. If you have a chance, watch RENT or listen to the wicked soundtrack you get a good idea of just how great & powerful her voice really is! (you can listen to a couple of her songs on my playlist)

Introducing the SORENSENS!!!

People ask me all the time if Mitch is still playing the drums so I thought I would put a little video of him and B "jamming". Mitch hates to practice but will play all night if he has his dad to play with. The do this together almost everynight!! It's kindof fun to watch them do this together..ENJOY!!!(don't forget to pause the blog music so you can hear b and mitch playing)

A couple fun things happened this week

The school had their Christmas Program yesterday and both kids got to sing a couple songs. Mitch and all the 4th grade students got to play their recorders and Ali got to play the piano. She was so excited to get to play in front of all the adults. I didn't get any good pictures of Mitch because I was to far away from him and they all turned out blurry. But I got a couple of Ali.

Don't mind the people around me talking and the shaky hands, i was holding a purse and two cameras trying to film and take pictures at the same time.

On Tuesday, Mitchell's class got to go on a field trip to the Cleveland Museum of Natural History. His class has been learning about Native American's in Ohio and at the museum,they got to see all the cool Native American things they have been learning about and a lot of other things as well.
