Am I paranoid or just a concerned mom???

I have dreams quite often that my kids drown!! Sometimes I get them (the kids) before things go bad and other times I wake up in a panic wondering......

Mitch was invited to go to Kalahari (an indoor water park) with his friend for the night. My first thought was NO he is not going.  If i'm not there, I can't watch him and make sure that he is not going to drown  (yes I know he's 10 and knows how to swim), and then, what if he gets worried about being away from us (he only had his first sleep-over somewhere else 2 or 3  weeks ago), what if he gets lost.....but the biggest concern drowning!!!
See, I know that if it were us taking our kids, the 4 of us would be on all the slides together and I wouldn't have to worry because I would know where he was at all times but to hand your kid over to someone else and not know..............freaks me out!!!!!  I realized, that I had to let go, quit worrying and let him go!!!!

They were going to get out of school early and head to Sandusky which is about an hour away so I told him call me as soon as you get there so I know you made it and call me as soon as you are done at the water park so I know you are ok.  Well, he called me when they got there and I talked to Brecken's mom while they were at the park but I never heard from Mitch again until they were on their way home this morning.

I'm glad he's home!!!! He had so much fun and was perfectly fine and obviously didn't drown but i'm still paranoid and am not looking forward to the next time one of them wants to go without me!!!!

My baby boy is growing up!!! sigh.......

I've been having a reacurring dream lately about Olivia drowning in the ocean....it's horrible!!! It think it has more to do with me being pregnant but still, I wake up terrifed and then can't go back to sleep. It's the worst feeling in the world!!!

Sounds like the first time I knew your mom was taking Lili to swim at Holli's without me...I love that Holli has that shallow part, but Heidi still sent me like three pics!
